Global Village New Year Party 2025 Held

Global Village New Year Party 2025 was held at Daiwa Lease Community Station in Global Village on January 8, and nearly 100 residents of Global Village and Short-Stay House attended.
Since 2018, the Global Village New Year Party has been co-hosted by the University of Tsukuba and the DAIWA LEASE CO.LTD group for five times. (It wasn't held in 2021-2023 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.)

Attended by Vice President for Student Affairs HOMMA and Vice President and Executive Director for International Global Affairs IKEDA, participants enjoyed a lively taiko performance by the student group, "Tokimeki Taiko Juku," mochi pounding experience, various games with some snacks (Halal), and deepening their friendship.

It was a fantastic and meaningful time, with participants saying, "I enjoyed my first mochi pounding experience." "It was a good opportunity to talk with my friends who live in the student residence halls."
