Fall Welcome Event "Tsuku-Koi 2024" Held

The student organization of the University of Tsukuba, the "All Colleges Students' Representative Council (ACSRC)" alias "Zendaikai" once again hosted the fall welcome event for international students, "Tsuku-Koi" this year.

This event was began in 2022 by Zendaikai, in response to requests from international students who enroll in the fall, that a similar welcome event to the one held in the spring be organized for the fall as well. This year marks the third year of the event.

Following the Entrance Ceremony for the Fall Semester held in the University Hall auditorium, the event took place in the foyer in front of the auditorium, the foyer in front of the hall, and the hall itself, where approximately 300 students gathered. New students enjoyed various activities introduced by 17 student organizations and performances by 3 groups, which fostered interaction among students.

Additionally, Zendaikai made a "Guide to Campus Life" to help international students enrich their university experience, which was distributed to them at the event. This guidebook is also available on Zendaikai website.
