Undergraduate Entrance Ceremony / Graduate School Entrance Ceremony for AY2024

The entrance ceremonies for the undergraduate school, graduate school, and the Acupuncture and Physical Therapy Teacher Training School for the academic year 2024 were held at the University Hall Auditorium on April 5. Newly enrolled students included 2,217 undergraduate students, 7 Acupuncture and Physical Therapy Teacher Training School students, and 2,511 graduate students.

Although recently, as part of the protective measures against COVID-19, attendance has been limited to alumni and alumnae only, this year, family members of new students were invited to attend the event.

President NAGATA Kyosuke gave an address at the ceremony, followed by an introduction of the board of directors. At the end of the ceremony, the University of Tsukuba Orchestra and Mixed Chorus performed the University of Tsukuba Student Song "Hitachino-no" as a welcome performance to celebrate the new students' future.
