President NAGATA Meets with Turkmen Leaders
On September 5, the delegation of President NAGATA Kyosuke visited Turkmenistan. President NAGATA had an audience with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, respectively. In the meetings, they agreed to promote cooperation in advancing educational and research exchanges through collaboration with higher education institutions in Turkmenistan, such as the Dowletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan. The meetings were widely reported on local television and web news.
President NAGATA also paid a visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University, and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where meetings were conducted to discuss future cooperation. At the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University, a signing ceremony regarding educational support for the university was held. We eagerly anticipate strengthening exchanges and fostering greater cooperation between Turkmenistan and the University of Tsukuba in the future.
