President NAGATA Visits Malaysia

On August 8-9, 2023, President NAGATA Kyosuke headed a university delegation to Malaysia. On August 8, the delegation visited the University of Malaya (UM), where they held discussions with Vice-Chancellor Mohd Hamdi Abd Shukor and other faculty members. The discussions aimed to further enhance research and educational collaboration between both universities.

Furthermore, on August 9, President NAGATA participated as a keynote speaker at the "13th UTM University Presidents Forum 2023: Innovating Solutions, Expanding Horizons," hosted by the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). His presentation centered around the theme of "Research Fostering Humanities." The event attracted over 100 participants from Malaysia and beyond, including Ahmad Fauzi Bin Ismail, Vice-Chancellor of UTM, and other university presidents with whom our university has established connections. The forum provided an opportunity for valuable exchanges of ideas.

It is anticipated that these engagements will contribute to further promoting and strengthening the collaboration and exchange between Malaysia and Japan in the future.
