President NAGATA and Garcia-Albano, Philippine Ambassador to Japan

On July 19, 2023, the Ambassador of the Philippines to Japan, H.E. Mylene J. Garcia-Albano, visited the University of Tsukuba and held discussions with President NAGATA Kyosuke, Vice President IKEDA Jun (Global Affairs), Executive Officer OHNEDA Osamu (Director-General, Bureau of Global Initiatives), and Director NOMURA Nakao (Office of International Exchange Support).

During the meeting, they talked about the current status of student exchanges between the University of Tsukuba and various institutions in the Philippines. Furthermore, they engaged in a fruitful exchange of ideas to foster even stronger future collaborations.

We look forward to further enhancing exchanges and cooperation between the institutions in the Philippines and the University of Tsukuba.
