National Taiwan University of Sport President Visits President NAGATA

On May 25, Professor Kuang-Piao Hsu, President of National Taiwan University of Sport, visited the University of Tsukuba and held talks with President NAGATA Kyosuke, Vice President IKEDA Jun (Global Affairs), Executive Officer OHNEDA Osamu (Director-General, Bureau of Global Initiatives), Director SAKURAI Takeaki (Office of Global Initiatives), Assistant Professor FUKUSHIGE Mizuho (Head of Taiwan Hub), Professor FUKASAWA Koyo (Institute of Health and Sport Sciences), and Specially Appointed Professor SANADA Hisashi.

During the meeting, they referred to exchange history through TIAS (Tsukuba International Academy for Sport Studies) and discussed on future expand their exchange, including student exchange. They also exchanged opinions on strengthening collaboration between University of Tsukuba, the first IOC-approved Olympic Studies Center in Japan, and National Taiwan University of Sport.

Further exchange and cooperation with National Taiwan University of Sport are expected in the future.
