Senior Advisor of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan, Dr. TSOU Yu-Han, visits President NAGATA
On July 13, Dr. TSOU Yu-Han, Senior Advisor and General Director, Science and Technology Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan met with President NAGATA Kyosuke, Vice President and Executive Director for Global Affairs BENTON Caroline F., Vice President and Executive Director for Collaborative Research KANAHO Yasunori, Vice President and Executive Director for Research WADA Hiroshi, Executive Officer OHNEDA Osamu (Director for Office of Global Initiatives), Specially Appointed Professor KIJIMA Joji, Professor UEDONO Akira of the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences, Professor KURODA Shinji of the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences, Associate Professor OHNIWA Ryosuke of the Faculty of Medicine, and Assistant Professor ABE Junichi Peter of the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences. During the meeting, Dr. TSOU emphasized that the University of Tsukuba is an important partner for Taiwan, and expressed his hope for further strengthening cooperation between the University of Tsukuba and Taiwan.
After the meeting with the President, Dr. TSOU visited the Center for Computational Sciences with Specially Appointed Professor KIJIMA and Assistant Professor ABE, and received explanations from Director BOKU Taisuke and Deputy Director YABANA Kazuhiro. We look forward to continuing to promote exchange and cooperation with Taiwan in the future.
