Exchange between the President and Students

An exchange between the president and students was held on November 20. This meeting has been held twice a year since 2013 as an opportunity for exchange between President NAGATA and students.

This meeting was held for graduate students who prepared the dialogue theme and was moderated by the President's Office Chief of Staff IKEDA Jun as the 1st part. The first part was a student dialogue, where President Nagata, Vice President SHIMIZU Satoshi (Education), Vice President BENTON Caroline F. (Global Affairs), and Vice President SATOH Shinobu (Student Affairs) attended. Students from graduate schools (except the Tokyo area) and the School of Integrative and Global Majors including international students actively exchanged opinions with the President at the meeting.

The second part was an exchange party hosted by the Head of the Student Support Office KAGA Nobuhiro. Teachers and staff including the Vice Presidents, Executive Officers, Deans, and related office's Directors also attended besides the participants in the first part. A total of 60 students including 11 international students and 19 teachers and staff attended. It was a great opportunity for students to talk face to face with the President, other schools' students, and teachers and staff.
