University teacher training for Kazakhstan teachers

The University of Tsukuba's Division of Education of the Faculty of Human Sciences organized a program on university teacher training for those in the Republic of Kazakhstan in collaboration with the Office for the Development of Professional Global Educators from May 11 to 17. This program was held for the fourth consecutive year.

Fourteen teachers who came from universities in Kazakhstan including Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Semey Medical University, Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and Gumilyov Eurasian National University joined the program which provides professional lectures on education in Japan, and also toured some schools in Tsukuba City and visited the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. They had a good opportunity to learn as much about education in Japan.
