Delegation from Uzbekistan visits Vice President BENTON

On April 3, a delegation from the Scientific-Production Center of Agriculture and Food Supply (SPCAFS) of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Siroj AZIZOV made a courtesy visit to Vice President for Global Affairs BENTON Caroline F.

SPCAFS is an agriculture and food research organization at the Republic of Uzbekistan and views on future research exchange with our university in the agricultural field were exchanged. They also toured the Gene Research Center of the University of Tsukuba, the Tsukuba-Plant Innovation Research Center and the University of Tsukuba Central Library.

The 3rd Japan-Uzbekistan University Presidents Meeting will be held in July. The two universities are expected to promote exchanges in the future.
