Officials from Foreign Embassies in Japan Visit the University of Tsukuba Faculty of Health and Sport Sciences
Officials from eight foreign embassies in Japan, including that of the United States, the British, and Australia, visited the University of Tsukuba Faculty of Health and Sport Sciences on February 22, 2018.
They visited the university as part of the tour of Tsukuba Science City. The tour was held to strengthen relations with foreign embassies which have been built since the G7 Science and Technology Ministers' Meeting in Tsukuba in May 2016, and to share the charm of Tsukuba Science City.
During their visit to the Faculty of Health and Sport Sciences, they got a briefing on the Tsukuba International Academy for Sport Studies (TIAS) and the Advanced Research Initiative for Human High Performance (ARIHHP), and received an overview of research experiments in the field of sport medicine, sports nutrition, and health sport sciences at some laboratories.
The university's international students from the embassies' countries also took part in the campus tour and listened intently to professors' lectures.
