Students will share their fieldwork experience, findings, and issues they have encountered during their research. For the past six months, they have developed simple technology prototypes to improve the Quality of Life of their target users. They have visited Oki Island, Yamanashi Prefecture, Kanagawa Prefecture, Myanmar, and the Philippines.
This year, students from the Ph.D. Program in Human Biology (HBP) and Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences have teamed-up to develop technologies to address issues concerning UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). They have tackled issues concerning infectious diseases, food loss, sustainable agriculture, and the environment.
